Ok, this is technique, that probably would be condemned by your teachers ;) - detailing is made using so called metal clay technique. It's not very popular among traditional silversmiths and goldsmiths, but it is gaining more and more interest with time.

Ah, i think i have heard of it. it is clay you form with the hands first, and then put it in an oven - right? Think i will try it some time :D Your works are absolutely stunning!

Well, basically yes, but this "oven" goes very close to melting point of each metal to form a sinter. It's generally so called powder metallurgy. It was originally used rather in metal industry as far as I know.
